'Parent as Career Coach'

Following a series of focus groups and pilot workshops parents have given their views and been helped to mentor their children. Barbara is now  compiling a workbook for parents and young people. This will enable parents to help their children decide on career direction and make choices about work, training and education.

Barbara was recently interviewed by Rachael Campey (award winning journalist and Editor) for an article on “Putting the X factor into mentoring”.

The article will appear in the Centre for Economic and Social Inclusion’s Autumn Edition of “Working Brief”.
